The Client & The Role
This progressive and large, mid-tier firm in Brisbane is looking to take on a Business Services & Tax Accountant to their knowledgeable and friendly team! Their staff is their most valuable asset, and they take pride in delivering high quality advice to their clients at all time.
The Duties
- Support with the preparation & review of accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
- Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero and APS
- Prepare and manage client correspondence and management accounting reports for review
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting & financial reporting standards
- Prepare Business Activity Statements and quarterly & annual tax compliance matters
The Applicant
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional working environment
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields
- In the process of attaining your CA/CPA or the intention to start it
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
