While the initial employment would be parttime, there may be an opportunity for this to grow into a number of full-time position. In most cases the work is flexible in terms of timing, with deadlines and outputs more important than structured work hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Basic Bookkeeping (Xero):
- Maintain financial records, process invoices, and assist with expense tracking using Xero.
- Social Media Management:
- Create engaging content for our social media platforms, including writing and promoting posts.
- Office Software Proficiency:
- Utilize Excel, Word, and desktop publishing tools for various administrative tasks.
- Effective Communication:
- Draft clear and concise communications, both written and verbal.
- Science Communication:
- Assist in conveying complex scientific concepts to a broader agricultural audience.
- Media Production:
- Edit short videos and create narrated slides for presentations.
- General Administrative Support:
- Coordinate travel arrangements, manage online orders, and handle data transfer.
- Assist with report editing, standard operating procedures, and client follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Background in science, agriculture, or research and development (R&D) institutions preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Basic media production skills (video editing, narrated slides).
- Social media savvy.
