Job Description:- Reports to the Director of Finance and People Operations.
- Assist in the completion of accounts, returns, payroll, and other reporting requirements. Identify and rectify errors, providing analysis and suggestions to stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly BAS statements and fulfill other statutory compliance obligations.
Reconciliations:
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, reporting risks and opportunities.
- Ensure debit and fuel card reconciliation is completed with all required receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist with the finalization of month-end and year-end accounts, including reconciliations, journals, and reporting.
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable:
- Prepare bills for payment in the accounting system.
- Produce fortnightly aged debtor reports with commentary and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Reporting, Documentation, and Administration:
- Provide monthly Profit and Loss reports across divisions and sites.
- Maintain compliance reporting for Superannuation payments, ensuring they are lodged monthly.
- Support the Director of Finance and People Operations with payroll administration.
- Maintain the integrity of financial reporting to provide accurate, timely, and relevant information.
- Handle other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
