The Opportunity

The role primarily involves accounting, compliance and advisory tasks for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.  This position will be both challenging and rewarding within a working environment that reflects a commitment to career development, work life balance and support.

The role includes:

• Preparation of Income tax returns and work papers for Individuals to Supervisor/Manager review
• Preparation of financials and Income tax returns for Partnerships, Trusts and Companies for Managers review
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements
• Workflow Management
• Liaising with the ATO
• Regular Internal and external training

About You

Do you have the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience in a public practice environment highly regarded
• Experience with Xero is highly regarded
• Experience within a paperless office 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate level knowledge in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge in other Microsoft applications
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commence or have commenced study towards CPA/CA
