AddressThis is a hands-on Accounting position, which will use all of your experience to meet the finance requirements for this international IVF medical device manufacturer.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to work on a full-time basis at our Sydney office, (Hybrid (office and home) working arrangement available.
This role will allow you to use your extensive knowledge to handle complex accounts payables/receivables and the day-to-day accounting activities including handling end-of-month financial reporting with the support of the CFO in our Asian offices.
You will be experienced in:
- compiling accounting schedules and updating operational reports.
- the preparation of consolidation schedules and aid in group financial consolidation reporting.
- creating aging reports and performing bank reconciliations and
- producing management reports and annual accounts for parent companies.
- generate tax computations and support profit tax filing and GST/VAT procedures and reporting and
- assist in ad-hoc projects to improve operating efficiency.

You will have a
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in accounting/finance/economics or related
- Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the accounting field or audit with multinational experience
- International experience would be desirable
- Experience with accounting software Syteline, or ERP (Odoo) is preferable
- Exhibits proactive behaviour towards potential problems
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible, hands-on, detail-oriented candidate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
