About the Role…
We are currently looking for an Accountant to join the Finance & Administration team. This role will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting processes for the Venue Operations and Corporate business units, as well as provide financial analysis and support to Sydney Showground.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Be the dedicated accountant for Venue Operations and Corporate business units.
- Conducting performance analysis for business units and identify factors influencing performance.
- Provide analysis for Sydney Showground events.
- Prepare journals, accruals and provide commentaries for monthly financial report.
- Manage SRES internal audits, revenue takings and commission calculations.
About you…
Essential knowledge, skills & competencies
- Completed tertiary accounting education.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Have strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong focus on providing excellent service to internal and external clients, with the ability to address issues and requests promptly.
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
