The Role
As the Supply Chain Finance Analysts Business Partner, you will be a trusted financial leader for the Site/Manufacturing Management team. This role is essential in driving operational excellence and cost control. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Plant Accounting:
- Maintain and record cost accounting records.
- Ensure accuracy in labour, material, and overhead costs.
- Align cost calculations with company policy.
Factory Reporting:
- Publish weekly production and variance reports.
- Prepare monthly factory performance accounting journals.
- Analyse cost information and report variations from expected costs.
- Participate in key meetings and support stock reduction initiatives.
Business Analysis:
- Provide timely financial analysis and advice.
- Conduct quarterly SOX testing and cost approvals.
Other duties including:
- Prepare annual budgets and participate in the review process.
- Manage SUPPLY CHAIN journals and external products DMC.
- Coordinate external product portfolio budgets.
- Provide financial support to business leaders.
- Identify and address gaps between forecasts and targets.
- Manage and support accurate financial reports to aid decision-making.

The Candidate
Our client is looking for a proactive and personable candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or business (Accounting) or equivalent
- CA or CPA qualified (ideally)
- Minimum 3 years of experience, including costing experience in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of cost accounting methods and procedures
- Proven problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong reporting, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Experience in the packaging or food industry is a bonus.
