Progressive Accounting & advisory firm. They have been established for over 20 years and have a team of 40 + staff across a range of different services.The business embraces a modern and tech-forward culture, and offer genuine work/life balance. The leadership team are all very down-to-earth and have an open-door policy with all staff. This has resulted in great longevity across the business.Due to a long-standing staff member stepping down. They are now seeking a like-minded receptionist/administrator to join their team. This position is an integral part of the business and will work alongside a team of 3 other administrators who have all been with the firm for several years.This is great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a professional and growing business. There is plenty of scope to make this role your own and develop your career internally.
Key duties include:- Maintenance of client files and preparing documents
- Attending to client queries
- Acting as the first point of contact for incoming calls
- Handling client invoice payments and debt collection
- Welcoming clients to the office and assisting with preparation for meetings
- General office up-keep and maintenance including restocking of supplies and products, banking, managing incoming mail, and dealing with external service providers
- Working with the Administration Manager to help plan office events and social activities
- Assisting the Partners and management team with other ad hoc projects
The ideal candidate will possess:- 18 months + experience in an administrative or reception role - ideally in a professional services environment
- Excellent communication abilities and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- A “can-do” attitude - and be eager to expand your skillset and grow in the role
- Some level of experience with accounting software like Xero & MYOB would be highly advantageous, although not essential
