We are a CPA accountancy practice based in Adelaide in the southern suburb of Christies Beach and looking for an intermediate/senior accountant with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an accountancy firm to join our team.

Our firm specializes in providing accounting, taxation, business advisory and online accounting systems to SME's. Using the latest cloud-based software such as MYOB, Xero, Salesforce, and Access, we provide business solutions to business.

As part of our professional team, you will assist the partners in managing a client portfolio, mentoring and client engagement. We offer a flexible work policy with a strong focus on the work life and family balance, and access to the best beach in Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee tax engagements for a portfolio of clients, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Manage other ATO requirements including BAS lodgments and PAYG.
• Prepare timely and accurate end of the month financial reports.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior tax accountants, offering expertise and fostering their professional development.
• Manage team workflow and client service standards.
• Identify business opportunities and be actively involved in business development and new proposals.

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, preferably CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).
• 4 years of experience in the accounting profession.
• Experience preparing BAS, financial statements, and income tax returns.
• Technologically savvy.
• Strong team player with a client-service focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
