About You
You have worked with stakeholders to implement change and are familiar with programming concepts. Knowledge in Python, SQL and Power BI would be beneficial but support will be provided.
You will also:
- Be strong with Excel formulae and pivot tables
- Have experience in the travel or tourism sector is desirable but not essential
- Have experience in Python, experience with SQL would also be favourable
- Very strong communication skills
- Work well in a fast paced, multi-business environment with tight deadlines
- Exceptional stakeholder management by working with non-technical stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making
About The Role
Reporting to the Group Manager, Revenue Systems, you will be a key resource for the management of availability and pricing across the Journey Beyond Group through our booking engines and internal applications.
Supervising a small team is a requirement to this role, but you will also want to work on the tasks & projects and engage with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Pricing - Accountable for pricing across most Journey Beyond brands
- Yield Management - Accountable for the management of availability of different fare types or promotional offers to maximum revenue across the Journey Beyond group
- Ad Hoc & Regular Reporting - Use of SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Excel to provide summarised data as requested
- Development Implementation - Provide insights as a subject matter expert on how to implement developments for the systems
- Procedure Improvements - Suggest and implement improvements to guest experience, revenue generation or efficiencies with regards to the systems
This is a permanent full-time position based at our Head Office in Adelaide’s CBD.
