NHL manufacture a full range of electric drive mining haul trucks and offer a seamlessly integrated unmanned solution with capacities from 120 to 330 tonne. Established in 1988, listed company of China North Industries Group Corporation Limited, NHL has 80% of the Chinese domestic market share and supplies to 63 countries. DADI’s business has been expanded from geological consulting to EPC turnkey projects, mine design and development, processing equipment manufacturing, coal preparation plant contract operation, mine electrical and automation systems, smart mining and processing technologies, and waste heat recovery solutions. DADI Engineering has secured long term supply/service contracts with major international mining companies including BHP, Sedgman, Anglo American, Rio Tinto, Glencore, Vale and Yancoal.
This role will support the business by the improvement of Financial processes and partnering with department managers to analyse and explain Financial results. Your efforts will result in further growth and profitability for the business. The role includes the following:
- Full function of management accounting in a engineering environment.
- Being proactive to improve Financial processes by understanding the detailed operational processes and how they create Financial transactions.
- Produce, analyse and explain monthly results including detailed variance analysis against budget.
- Month end process including depreciation calculations, maintenance fixed assets, lease accounting, recurring journals, payroll journals, spare parts and inventory reconciliations.
- Coordinate and assist in year end external audit and adhoc internal audit to improve financial accountability.
- Management of weekly cashflow and forecasting cash.
- Assist in preparation of annual budget.
- Coordinate in effective system improvements including improvements in areas such as job costing and inventory control.
- Support General Manager on an adhoc basis with operational and strategic analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Degree qualified (Accounting/Commerce) with minimum 3 years experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering or Mining Services organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- High work ethic and team player.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamic 365 ERP will be an advantage but not essential.
