Job Summary:
Reports To: Finance Manager, with support provided to the Group Financial Controller
Role Overview:
The accountant or Assistant Accountant (dependign on experience level) will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including end of month reporting, balance sheet & related parties transactions reconciliations, reviewing accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvement projects and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: AP reconciliation.
- Accounts Receivable: AR reconciliation.
- Month-end: Bank reconciliation; balance sheet reconciliations, inter-entities transaction reconciliations, stock reconciliation, accrual calculations, posting monthly journal entries, profit and loss actualizations, variance analysis on monthly profit and loss reports.
- Assisting in group reporting: assist in preparing group financial reports and consolidated reports.
- Cash flow management: weekly cash flow actualizing, and forecasting.
- Assisting in annual auditing: collaborating with external tax consultants in annual auditing.
- Fixed Asset Register management: maintain and update fixed asset register, make sure fixed asset register up to date and accurate.
- Assisting in lodging statutory reports.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Accounting Background: A degree in accounting or finance.
- System Experience: Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel: Moderate Excel skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Progress toward or attainment of CPA certification is desirable.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Mandarin Speaking Preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
