About the Role
We are seeking a Music Performance Co-ordinator who is passionate about music education and dedicated to providing the highest standard for Music Performance.This position is a full time, ongoing opportunity to commence as soon as possible.
As the Music Performance Co-ordinator, you will be committed to the implementation of best teaching practice and high-quality music programs which meet the needs of every Music learner. From Year 7 through to Year 12, our music program spans both classroom music and an extensive instrumental music program that includes both solo and ensemble Music Performance across a broad range of music genres.
Your Everyday
Working closely with the Director of Music, the successful candidate will:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Ridgeway Campus Music program
- work within the annual budget, in consultation with the Business Office and Principal
- support the Director of Music in the implementation of a uniform, One-School classroom Music program at the Ridgeway Campus
- be provided with growth coaching to evolve and improve their impact on student learning
- prepare for and conduct classes, inspiring and fostering a love and appreciation of learning in Music for our years 7 to 10 student groups
- use a variety of evidence to inform teaching and learning practices, creating relevant and authentic learning experiences.
About You
- Suitably qualified and experienced in teaching Music
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students and colleagues
- passionate about student learning and professional growth
- up to date knowledge of contemporary teaching application and theory
- personal resilience in managing multiple demands and timelines.
