Due to internal expansion, we seek an Accountant for our established Accounting, commencing ASAP.
About the role: The main duties & experience required but not limited to:
- MYOB Advanced experience is a must
- Advanced Excel
- Large payroll process experience.
- Time billable > invoice > payroll experience
- Create large weekly wage/invoice entry
- Correlation of financial statements and reports.
- Correspondence with ATO and Financial Institutions.
- On-going maintenance and control of all accounting systems in compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
- Recommend and advise on Business, Financial issues, and future investments.
- Previous worker's compensation payroll experience (preferred)
- Updating and maintaining wages records (internal-external)
- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- Tax & Superannuation Management.
- Develop & maintain SPS recordkeeping and accounting systems.
- Liaising with staff and management on wages V hours billable.
- Undertake required reporting, both internal and statutory reporting.
- Conduct audits and manage solvency.
- Liaison with Directors on long-term strategy and budgets.
- Liaison with management vendors.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate data transfers, and ability to multi-task
- Confident, friendly, dedicated
- Outstanding communication (written & verbal)
