The company has a prominent position in the fresh food industry including manufacturing and export. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced and organised Accounting Officer to join the Corporate Services team in Hobart, Tasmania. We are seeking an individual with meticulous attention to detail strong organisational skills, and a passion for handling accounting tasks. You will play a key role in supporting various financial and administrative functions within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior accountant with basic accounting procedures
• Processing purchase orders, and invoicing
• Assist with processing accounts payable efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain financial records with the utmost precision.
• Corporate Services office administration. 
• Good interpersonal skills, required to liaise with multiple sites in a professional manner
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth office operations.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a structured and organized workflow.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in basic accounting procedures and office administration
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and office tools.
• A process-driven mindset to optimize office procedures.
