This role leads a professional team dedicated to improving business performance and achieving strategic objectives through expert assistance and advisory services.Job Summary: As the Team Leader, you will manage client relationships, understand their businesses, and provide innovative solutions. You will also develop new work opportunities to expand the client base, contribute to team goals, and add value across the firm.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns, financial accounts, BAS, and FBT returns.
- Draft bills and analyse write-ons/write-offs.
- Oversee payroll, bookkeeping, and provide tax advice.
- Maintain positive client relationships and identify beneficial strategies.
- Direct and review staff work, providing performance feedback.
- Stay updated on technical issues and provide training.
- Collaborate with the BSD team and support continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and business initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CA/CPA Qualification required.
- Progress towards MA in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum five years' experience in a professional firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, and MYOB.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive in professional development.
