Outback Stores are searching for an Accounting Officer to join our growing team!

This role would suit an individual who is dynamic, enthusiastic and enjoys a challenge. We are a diverse team with specialised knowledge of accounting functions therefore providing a great support structure and friendly open plan environment.
About the role:
Outback Stores is searching for a vibrant individual who is looking to support and join the Finance team as an Accounting Officer.
This role is ideal for someone who has been operating in a Finance environment, the position requires a highly organised and motivated individual, with a passion for process and continuous improvement. You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Your key accountabilities will be:
- Daily/weekly reconciliation of bank accounts, clearing accounts and other accounts
- Enter and post supplier invoices in SAGE in accordance with AP procedure
- Liaise with supplier for any invoice queries and outstanding credit requests
- Complete monthly/weekly supplier statement reconciliations for all suppliers & complete month end.
- Complete monthly/quarterly Management Reports within deadline
- Assist team members as and when required
About you:
- Experienced in Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Experienced in Account Reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and have a can do attitude.
- Show accountability in all aspects of the position.
- Experience with SAGE desirable
- Degree in Accounting or other relevant training.
- Able to work within a team environment
