We own and operate a number of AMPM Petrol and Convenience stores across South Australia in addition to multiple fast food restaurants including Carl’s Jr and Subway. Agostino Management Services, a division of Agostino Group, is currently seeking to appoint an Accounting Officer to join our team at our Head Office in Adelaide.
The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Officer to join our finance team. In this position, you will be working closely with our finance team to support the day-to-day accounts receivable tasks, perform reconciliations and be accountable for month-end activity tasks. You will be responsible for issuing monthly invoices, debtor reporting, processing internal recovery charges, assisting with year-end tasks, and performing reconciliations while effectively communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and paid on time
- Reconciling account statements and taking action on outstanding items
- Preparing debtor reports
- Assisting in the year-end processes
- Performing reconciliations
- Assisting with BAS and other statutory reporting as required
- Assisting with monthly reporting tasks as required
About you:
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
- Min of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in MS Dynamics/Navision or equivalent system
- Attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
- Time management skills; and be
- Team player
