This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join an innovative, dynamic Structural Steel Engineering firm.
About the role:
Reporting to the Director, the Finance Officer will manage all aspects of accounts receivable and payable. Your role will extend beyond finance, providing essential administrative support to various departments. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven, motivated individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes.
- Data entry, payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and paid on time.
- Reconcile subcontractors and supplier invoices.
- Reconcile corporate credit cards.
- Job cost expenditure to projects.
- Ensure an orderly accounting filing system is maintained.
- Ad-hoc administrative support to reception, and other clerical support as and when requested.
Key Requirements:
- Passionate about finance and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Diploma, and or higher education in Accounting / Business Administration and or equivalent.
- Experience using XERO is essential.
- Previous experience in an accounts administration / book-keeping role is desired.
- Technology Savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
