Embarking on significant expansion, promotion, and branding activities, they are now seeking to appoint a passionate Accounts & AdministrationOfficer as the business continues its growth.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Accountant you will have responsibility for processing finance related matters, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Ledger and Account Reconciliation. In close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer, you will also assist with the preparation of the monthly reports and provide commentary on financial performance of the organisation. This is a key financial role, with your primary responsibilities to include;
- Accurate monthly reports including variance analysis
- Accurate coding of accounts payable invoices
- Input of all sales transactions
- Accounts Payable/ Receivable
- Payroll (casual and permanent employees)
- Bank Reconciliations
- Invoicing and,
- AdHoc finance matters
Naturally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate files and databases to audit standard, maintaining an awareness of all relevant legislation.
About You
You must have a minimum five years’ experience as a Accounts & Administration Officer, or in a similar role, coupled with a high degree of computer literacy. Experience in accounting system XERO as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel is essential. Wine/ FMCG experience (including knowledge of WET) is desirable. You'll need to be a true team player, focused on building collaborative relationships across the business that contributes to a high-performance culture.
