Accounts Administrator (Accounts Receivable & Payroll)
We are looking for a focussed and detail oriented Accounts Administrator (Accounts Receivable & Payroll) to join our global team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our finance team with Accounts Receivable and global payroll functions. You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

The role is based onsite at our converted warehouse office in Marrickville and works closely with a dynamic and collaborative team. As a growing business this role is a great foundation for professional growth opportunities.
Working within the finance team you will be undertaking the following:
- Day to day AR across three entities
- Process incoming payments from customers promptly and accurately
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Generate invoices and statements, and follow up on overdue accounts
- Processing payroll using Employment Hero, Gusto and Xero, including data entry, calculations, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees
- Maintain employee records, including deductions, and other payroll-related information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payroll discrepancies
- Prepare reports summarising Accounts Receivable and payroll activities for management review
- Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
Requirements
- Either a minimum accounting qualification equivalent to Cert IV Accounting/Bookkeeping or a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an accounts role
- Effective time management, task prioritisation and organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in Xero and Excel
- Solutions focused
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and constructive attitude
