The Opportunity 

GO Offshore is looking to add an enthusiastic and hard-working Accounts Assistant to our high performing head office team.  This entry level role will be ideal for someone motivated to launch their career in the exciting resources industry and overtime develop their skill set by gaining knowledge and experience from a diverse finance team. 

Primary responsibilities of this role initially include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Accurate and detailed data entry of all creditor invoices
• Matching purchase orders and cost coding invoices for entry into Xero accounting software
• Maintaining communications and relationships with supplier, customers (internal and external) and service providers by phone and/or email relating to account queries
• Reconcile monthly creditor/debtors statements 
• Other general administrative accounting functions and tasks within the capability of the incumbent

About You 

As the successful candidate, you will be required to demonstrate:

• Previous data entry experience 
• Exposure to accounts payable and/or accounts receivable 
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
• Accurate and meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Good numeracy skills
• Sound knowledge of MS Office, in particular Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Proficient with accounting software (preferably Xero)

This is an entry level position where the successful candidate will receive ongoing in-house training and support to ensure they are set up for success in their career at GO OFFSHORE.
