About the Role:
Come aboard and take the next step in your career! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our growing Melbourne Team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller this position will contribute to ensuring the smooth, efficient, and transparent application of our accounting department. If this sounds like you we'd love to hear from you!
Key Accountabilities:
- Reconciling invoices to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Manage expense forms and process reimbursement forms.
- Maintain digital and physical financial records in compliance with regulation.
- Checking financial spreadsheets to ensure accuracy
- Reprint invoices and statements to customers and external partners as required.
- Participate in internal and external audits and compliance obligations.
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ Years previous work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
- Previous experience working in a Logistics or Freight Forwarding organisation.
- Demonstrated experience with Excel and Accounting software
- Previous experience with bookkeeping procedures.
