AddressEMF has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our high-performing team on the Gold Coast!
With 23 great venues located across QLD and NSW, EMF has now become the premier fitness and performance training provider on the Gold Coast, offering state of the art equipment and services that are second-to-none.
The purpose of this role is to efficiently assist the CFO with monthly reconciliation, paying our group fitness contractors, XERO data entry, fortnightly payroll for 300 employees, as well as a diverse range of ad-hoc administration demands to support the successful management and continuous growth & improvement of the overall performance of the company.
In this role you will have strong administrative skills, a respectful attitude, strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. These traits are all integral to helping the company achieve their goals and build strong relationships with the individuals and companies that EMF work in collaboration with.
The kind of person we are looking for:
- Have an extremely strong understanding of Accounts Payable requirements and processes, using Xero software
- Have an understanding of Payroll requirements and processing
- Exhibit exemplary administration skills and attention to detail
- Show initiative, adaptability & eagerness to learn
- Have a professional & positive attitude
- Possess a knack for identifying abnormalities in processes and problem solving
- Able to provide training to team members in a supportive manner
Eligibility requirements for applicants:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical Administration Role, preferably within the Fitness Industry
- Extremely proficient in Xero
- Microsoft Excel & Word, Google Sheets and Employment Hero experience preferred.
