AddressA recognised organisation is looking to for an Assistant Accountant to support the Accountants and report to the Finance Manager. You will need to be driven to grow your career in accounting, be a team player and also have a professional outlook with a personality and enjoy team success !
The role will offer amazing exposure to a wide range of accounting activities.
Your initial responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Weekly reports – cash flow, bank reconciliation, orders processed, billings.
- Assist with Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End accounting.
- Monthly reports - financials and management accounts.
- Quarterly BAS filing.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualified in Accounting.
- Accounting experience in an accounting practice or commercial
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- Advanced Word and Excel skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability.
- Ability to perform well in a small team environment, with a hands on and flexible approach.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with a quality and outcome focus, and ability to work to deadlines
