ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations with our current team and contribute to the growth and success of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional communication skills and preferably experience in project costing and improvement management.
The Role:
Full-Time permanent role
Location: Yatala (Fully office-based role)
Company: Civil Engineering
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance the workflow of the department.
A strong emphasis on Project costing, collaborate with Project managers and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience working with project costing
Excellent accounting software knowledge/experience – MYOB
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communicator with strong leadership skills to manage and support the accounts team
Experience within a similar industry would be desirable
Advanced Excel skills
