National Media is a long-established Gold Coast business, centrally located in Bundall, that own and operate a portfolio of market-leading exhibitions.
The Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Finance team on a full-time, fixed-term basis starting as soon as possible to August 2025. Reporting to the Finance Director, in this role you will be pivotal in helping us manage the day-to-day accounts and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
- Sales & contract administration
- General administration and office duties
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience using Xero or similar accounting software is necessary
- General bookkeeping experience and accounting knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Confident, self-starter with a great phone manner
- Ability to work proactively and meet key deadlines
- Be extremely well-organised and detail-oriented
- Competent with cloud-based software (G-Suite, Office365,)
- Experience using Apple operating systems is preferred but not essential
