About the Role

To undertake the statewide administrative activities of a defined service area to ensure an equitable, effective and efficient service in regard to the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) personnel and clients.  As well as undertake the activities associated with ensuring clients receive their aids and equipment in a timely manner through the MASS subsidy funding model.

The position is also responsible for setting work priorities and monitoring workflow within the defined service area.

  • Communicate, liaise and network with MASS personnel, government and non-government agency personnel.
  • Maintain manual and computerised information systems and databases, including the ability to abstract, interpret and disseminate statistical data for the team.
  • Undertake delegated procurement activities and manage the outstanding tax invoices and acquittal processes.
  • Initiate and participate in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of personnel training and education.
