About the Role:
We are seeking an astute and enthusiastic Accounts Officer to join our team. This full-time, office-based position offers a rewarding opportunity for recent graduates with Australian qualifications in Accounting or Finance (Diploma, Degree). Under the close mentorship of the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial processes, including:
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Monitoring and reviewing aged receivables
- Promptly following up on overdue customer accounts
- Performing various reconciliations
- Maintaining financial records
- Managing written and verbal communications with suppliers, service providers and debtors
- Assisting in payroll preparation and employee updates
- Undertaking additional financial tasks as needed

About You:
You are a self-motivated and proactive individual with:
- A degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance (an Australian institution preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- A solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong IT skills with Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with Xero (preferred but not essential)
- Strong administrative, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Full working rights in Australia
Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required, as training will be provided for candidates with the right mindset and qualifications.
