The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to manage our accounts payable and receivable. This full-time position offers a chance to be part of a professional finance team within a supportive and positive work culture. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including processing payments, managing invoices, and ensuring the financial health of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Manage accounts payable: process invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and prepare payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable: issue invoices, ensure timely payment collection, and manage customer queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports on accounts payable and receivable status.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and financial audits.
• Support the finance department with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:
 

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in accounts payable and receivable.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a 76-hour fortnight effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
