We are a plaintiff personal injury law firm based in Parramatta. We have an opportunity for an Accounts Officer/ Bookkeeper/ Admin to join our Parramatta office. The position is a part time 2- 3 days to start with, a view to offer full time employment to right candidates.
Qualifications & experience
- At least 2 years' work experience in similar role. Previous bookkeeping/accounting/Administrative experience in a law firm environment preferred• Excellent computer/technology & Internet skills. Experience and familiar with SILQ and tertiary qualifications in accounting preferred.
Tasks & responsibilities
Record and monitor financial information
- liaise with clients, external Accountant and other departments regarding payroll, business activity statements, tax returns, invoices, receipts, costs and compliance.
Assist on answering incoming calls and handling client inquiries.
- Maintaining accounts, bank reconciliation, preparation of business activity statements, financial reports and trust reconciliation.
- Filing, photocopying, scanning and administrative support.
- Opening, closing and archiving of legal files.
