Are you an experienced Accounts Officer looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare payment runs for further approval
- Reconcile accounts statements and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Maintain supplier files and respond to supplier inquiries
Payroll:
- Review and verify daily timesheet entries for accuracy and completeness
- Preparing weekly payroll runs for further approval
- Maintain and update employee payroll records
- Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month-end procedures.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Team and other departments as needed.
- Maintain and organize documents, records, and files.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
Support Function:
Back up for Accounts Receivable:
- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Generate and issue invoices
- Process bank reconciliations
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts payable, payroll processing, and general accounts functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
