people2people are excited to be working with our client, a family-owned business who specialise in manufacturing products to service clients across Queensland nationally.This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a close-knit team with family values on a permanent part-time basis. This is a 1 day a week role (Friday,) with the flexibility to become 2 days. The successful candidate must be flexible to cover leave.About the role:
- Full-function Accounts Receivable
- Billing, receipting and allocation of payments
- Maintenance of the debtor ledger and review outstanding debt
- Review and maintenance of AR inbox
- Responding to debtor inquiries
- End to end processing of a small payroll
- Other ad hoc admin duties and projects within the scope of the role.
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
- Exceptional numeracy skills
- Computer literate and strong with systems – experience with MYOB is highly advantageous
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- A positive, team-focused and “can-do attitude.
- Part-time permanent opportunity (1-2 days per week)
- Work with a supportive and collaborative team
- Based in Brisbane inner-East, onsite parking available.
- 70k + super pro-rata.
