Accounts Officer

  • Part Time Position - 24hrs In Office

This is a part-time 24 hrs a week position, where you will be required to work in the office. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Entering in extra invoices to clients which include:

     - Entering in extras into NetSuite and sending tax invoices to clients
     - Receipting / applying payments received to A/R

  • Maintaining and processing monthly contract invoices and sending them to clients
  • Managing the NDF transfers including:   
    - Sending all invoices to bank for the NDF funding
    - EOM reconciliation of NDF accounts with Bank
  • Liaising with clients with any queries they may have.
  • Liaise with Managers regarding invoices variance and discrepancies
  • Assist other accounts team with any issues, and in processing payments
  • Overseeing the debt collection and ensure collection targets are met
  • Checking and processing Carpet extras/tax invoices 
  • Coding and entering A/P tax invoices into NetSuite ready for payment
  • Assist the Assistant Accountant with the EOM process.
  • Assist with answering the phone.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required


The Successful applicant will have:

  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Diploma in accounting or related field and / or recognised experience in accounts receivable & payable
  • Experience with NetSuite, XERO or similar 
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven track record of working effectively independently
  • Ability to work as a team with solid leadership skills
  • Proven experience working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, to ensure accuracy of information
  • Proficient use of technology including MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word 
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders
