About the Role
The People, Culture and Compliance Officer will ensure compliance against all regulatory and legislative requirements with a focus on workplace health and safety, human resources, the NDIS, child safety and school registration.
The key responsibilities include:
- Develop and oversee a compliance calendar and conduct periodic regulation and compliance reviews/audits to ensure all relevant regulation and legislation requirements are met
- Provide advice to leaders within the organisation about regulatory issues pertaining to their operations.
- Review and update policies to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, standards and community expectations.
- Coordinate safety audits, playing a key role in actioning outcomes for improvement / rectification.
- Support the constant review of child safety measures in place for TSH and provides advice on improvements to the program managers
- Coordinate the update and organisation of materials that support the registration and compliance processes for TSH.
About You
To be successful, you will have a highly consultative approach and extensive compliance and administration experience in either the education or healthcare industry.
Building trusting and relationships with internal stakeholders is key to your success in the role combined with your analytical skills and your ability to constructively review performance in key areas and recommend improvements.
Excellent organisational skills to be able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities, with the ability to problem solve and work independently, are also essential.
The successful candidate will need to provide a Working with Children Check, Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
