Accounts Payable, located in Townsville, CBD.

Your new company 
Our client is a gold mining organisation based in Townsville CBD. Their finance team is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. You will be responsible for end to end AP processing, and you will report to the company's Financial Controller. Join a well established team, with a great company culture. 
Your new role 

End to end Accounts Payable processing

Investigate blocked invoices

Prepare and review payment runs

Assist with month end closing

Reconcile vendor statements

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information in the ERP system

Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies/get approval for invoice payment

What you'll need to succeed 
In order to be successful, you will have strong Accounts Payable experience. Experience with SAP or Pronto is essential. You will also have the ability to prioritise according to deadlines and have a high level of attention to detail. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with internal stakeholders.
