Accounts Payable & Reconciliations Officer

VALD is the world leader in musculoskeletal technology, providing innovative human-measurement technology to over 5,000 clients in over 100 countries.If you have a favourite team in the NBA, EPL, or NFL, there's a good chance they use VALD products.Since its humble beginnings in 2015 in Brisbane, Australia, VALD has grown to a team of over 200 team members in 30 countries, with 5 offices across four continents.Driven by a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, sports scientists, designers, developers and engineers, VALD's suite of systems offer unparalleled insight into human movement, performance, injury risk and rehabilitation.About the VALD Finance TeamThe Finance team is a small, hardworking group of team-focused individuals who each play a vital role in providing business intelligence to management for strategic decisions to be made.The Finance team is responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll for all team members and financial reporting for global offices.In this role, you will:

• Perform daily data entry of supplier invoices across multiple currencies and entities.

• Generate bills from purchase orders.
• Prepare comprehensive weekly payment reports for the weekly Accounts Payable meeting.
• Process weekly batch payments and manual payments for domestic and international suppliers.
• Take ownership of credit card and bank reconciliations across different banking institutions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review and process expense reimbursements for employees.
• Prepare intercompany journals and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities.
• Daily bank transfers between accounts within the Group.
• Reconcile supplier balances with statements, resolving discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Assist in BAS return preparation.
• Any other ad hoc finance tasks as assigned.

Is this you?The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently along with the following attributes:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in dealing with more than one currency and multiple entities.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with NetSuite or any other ERP.
