Addressu&u Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering with a Government owned corporation. Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable professional to join their collaborative, high-performing Finance Team for a six month fixed term contract with possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for the business’ end to end payables function.
- End to end Accounts Payable including processing and matching invoices, account reconciliations and payment runs;
- Own and maintain the Accounts Payable transactions, records and system;
- Maintain relationships and communication with suppliers, responsible for inbox and phone queries;
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, to ensure timely and compliant payments;
- Assist with month end, year end and audit processes;
- Ensure best practice for the Accounts Payable function, identifying opportunities for improvement; and
- Develop best practice processes and procedures relating to the payables function;
To be successful in this position, candidates will demonstrate:
- At least three years’ experience working in an end to end Accounts Payable role;
- Confident working in a high volume environment;
- Experience using large ERP systems, Excel and Microsoft Office;
- Document management system experience highly desirable
- A customer centric attitude and eagerness to work as part of a collaborative team; and
- Eagerness to own the Accounts Payable function and be involved in process improvement and enhancement
- Six month fixed term contract, with possibility of extension;
- CBD Location - close to public transport;
- One day WFH; and
- Salary circa $90,000-$97,000 + 12.75% superannuation.
