THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable and Office Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable process efficiently and accurately, while also providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Check invoices for correct authorisation and coding before payment
  • Handle supplier statements, resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain current Accounts Payable records accurately
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Support month-end closing with reconciliations and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
  • Support audits with documentation and assistance
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory levels
  • Handle phone calls and email inquiries, redirect them as necessary
  • Manage scheduling, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Provide general admin support: data entry, filing, and report generation
  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks as required

ABOUT YOURSELF

  • Relevant qualifications in Business/Commerce are required
