What you'll do:As an
Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial order within our client's organisation. Your primary responsibility will be managing the receipt and distribution of invoices across various departments, ensuring that all payments are processed promptly and accurately. You will also be tasked with verifying expense allocations against Cost Centre budgets, maintaining orderly files for all payments, and responding to any queries from suppliers or staff. Additionally, you will handle regular reconciliations of Petty Cash, Cash Floats, and monthly supplier statements.
- Manage the receipt and distribution of invoices to various departments within the organisation
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, BPAYs, and staff reimbursements
- Handle the weekly AP Payment run efficiently
- Verify expense allocations against Cost Centre budgets
- Maintain orderly and accurate files (scanned paperwork) for all payments
- Respond to suppliers and staff queries in a timely manner
- Reconcile Petty Cash and Cash Floats regularly
- Perform reconciliation of monthly supplier statements
