Based at Royal Park, Conroy’s Smallgoods is a quality food manufacturer in Hams and Smallgoods with wholesale and retail capability and a proud history as one of South Australia’s most established institutions in the food sector. Conroy’s supplies products and services to both local and domestic markets. We have a fully integrated system which includes incoming material inspection, boning room, value adding operations and local delivery services.
About the opportunity
- The role can be for a graduate accountant seeking experience or an already experienced Accounts Payable Officer
- Opportunity to Grow and Develop within the role
- Full time Monday to Friday
- Permanent role
- Ideally, an immediate start for several week handover/training period
- Review and verify invoices and payment requests
- A basic understanding of GST
- Set invoices up for payment
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Stock ordering with materials planning and organisation
- Back up to reception for answering telephone calls and general administrative support
Qualifications and/or experience
The successful applicant will have the following attributes: -
- Accounting and/or bookkeeping background or area of study interest
- Attention to detail is a MUST, and completing-finishing will be a strength
- A positive attitude
- Be able to analyse information
- Be thorough and organised
- Proven numeric skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Able to work unsupervised
