Job description

The position

Part of the Processing Services team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of financial transactions such as Accounts Payable invoice, Payment runs, Expense Management, Cross charges, Vendor creations, Receipting, Banking and other data processing. This role will also be required to interact and engage effectively with various stakeholders, internal and external to WVA.

Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable children and adults.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Timely and accurate processing and matching of vendors invoices
  • Responsible for obtaining required approvals according to organization Delegation of Authority
  • Accurate processing of weekly payment run for domestic and international suppliers
  • Responsible for vendor set-up in D365 and amendments, while ensuring correct supporting documentation is provided
  • New employee accounts creation/maintain in D365
  • Responsible for screening all new vendors (Watch Dog process)
  • Timely processing of purchase orders
  • Timely response to queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Monthly follow up on aged report for vendors transactions
  • Reporting and analysis on corporate expenses
  • Timely and efficient processing of all credit card application, cancellation and suspension within 1 working day
  • Contribute to the process of accurate batching, banking, and donations received via various platforms

As the successful candidate you will have strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, the willingness to learn and be a great team player.

Skills you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service/ financial role with funds and information processing
  • Ability to work with business processes/ systems
  • Proven ability to work towards achieving key performance indicators at team and individual level
  • Proven ability to identify, analyse and solve problems effectively
  • Experience in a banking environment and/or supplier payment/accounts receivable environment
  • Excellent analytical skills. Ability to identify and make process improvements and efficiencies within the team
  • Reconciliation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge in processing of monetary contributions under financial Institution guidelines
