Perfect opportunity for an Accounts Payable professional seeking a close-to-home role in Melbourne's Western suburbs. Working in a wider Accounts Payable team, this role will support end-to-end invoice processing and maintain a portfolio of supplier and customer relationships.
Our client is a med-large, growing manufacturing business with operations across Australia. The successful candidate will join the business on an initial 6-month working arrangement and is best suited to someone with immediate availability. The team is values-driven and emphasizes a positive, team-player culture.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Completing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including scheduling payment runs and ensuring appropriate authorization has occurred.
- Processing and coding all invoices accurately and timely, and conducting daily reconciliation of Accounts Payable invoices.
- Receipting of goods and services.
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and responding to any internal or external queries relating to the Accounts Payable function.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects.
- Experience in a similar Accounts Payable position, demonstrating an understanding of the end-to-end process.
- An interest in automation and system projects is a bonus.
- Experience using an ERP system such as Netsuite, SAP, Epicor, Dynamics etc.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
- Reside in the North/West suburbs and be able to attend the office.
