About the client

Join an Australian-owned business that has been serving clients since 1969. Their mission is to import and supply elements, thermostats, combustion equipment, refrigeration and HVAC equipment to the oil and gas, electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning industries.
 
With teams across Australia and New Zealand, they are seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Officerto join their close-knit organisation in Belmont.

About the role 
Reporting to the on-site Accountant, your day-to-day duties will see you build a strong rapport with clients and suppliers across Australia. Utilising your excellent attention to detail and strong planning and organisational skills, you will complete the end-to-end process of Accounts Payable.  
 
Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Reconciliations of all creditor's invoices, credit cards, and freight accounts.
• Setting up new supplier/creditor accounts.
• Processing international supplier, freight, and tax invoices.
• Overdue account follow-up/debt collection
• Meeting weekly and monthly deadlines.
