Accounts Payable Officer (On-Site Carlton) Ft Or Pt

We are in search of an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer for an industry leading and family-owned Australian manufacturer and distributer. Is this you?

Responsibilities

• Receive creditor accounts, sort/match & distribute for authorisation
• Efficient & accurate processing & payment to creditors
• Reconciling, general ledger coding, checking / pricing of accounts to be processed
• Produce payment documentation in accordance with agreed terms & coordinate process for payment
• Address and follow-up queried accounts ensuring timely resolution, ensuring permits, licenses and leases are adhered to
• Account reconciliations and reporting

The Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years experience working in full-function Accounts Payable role within manufacturing, construction materials or construction industry environment within the local market
• A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask, excellent time management and organisation skills
• Strong customer service focus and proven stakeholder management skills 
• High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
