MMA Offshore has an opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Accounts Payable Officer to join our Singapore office. Reporting to the Shared Services Manager Australia, this role is responsible for providing internal and external stakeholder support with a high level of customer service, ensuring supplier invoices are received, authorized and paid in accordance with company policies.
This is a full-time permanent position based in our Singapore office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt of invoices and redirection to procurement, if required, for authorisation.
- Processing high volume of invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner.
- Preparation and payment of regular payment runs to pay suppliers in accordance with agreed terms.
- Assist with bank account reconciliations relating to Accounts Payable entries.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and provide advice and information on the Company’s Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
- Assist auditors with any queries raised in relation to Accounts Payables process.
- Review and analyse the Accounts Payable systems and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Accounting Software and / or SharePoint
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities
- Self-motivated – ability to interpret what is required and actively undertake tasks with minimal supervision
- Communication & interpersonal skills – sound level of self-awareness, ability to obtain cooperation and relevant information from colleagues, and a strong focus on communicating in a clear and concise manner
- Critical thinking – has the ability to tackle problems using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
