About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to play a crucial role in our Finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing, supporting and ensuring the integrity of the Accounts Payable process and systems in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
The role includes:
Accounts Payable
- Ensure all local payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain high standard relationships with local vendors and internal departments
- Set up new suppliers
- Create fixed asset register
- Send remittance advices and perform statement reconciliations
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end processes and in accordance with company standards.
The role will also incorporate some Accounts Receivable responsibilities:
- Process new customer credit applications and PPSA registrations
- Create new customer accounts
- Debtor correspondence
- Approval of sales orders via NAV
- Arranging credit limit approval with our debtors insurance and parent entity
- Monthly reporting to parent entity.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have excellent communications skills, be well organised with a high level of attention to detail and be effective in time management and workload priorisation.
In addition, the following are required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and payroll is essential
- An energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and can-do approach to deliver and implement solutions
- Absolute go-getter, you’ve got drive, energy and resilience and are eager to learn
- Ability to report to and manage multiple key stakeholders
- Drivers License is essential.
