THE ROLE:
Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? Stryker South Pacific is seeking a reliable Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. As a crucial member of our finance department, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounts Receivable function while fostering positive relationships with our valued clients.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Maintain Accounts Receivable: You'll be responsible for managing our Accounts Receivable function on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all processes are conducted accurately and with integrity.
- Client Communication: Daily contact with clients to ensure prompt receipt of outstanding funds and resolution of payment inconsistencies.
- Problem Resolution: Liaise with clients and internal staff to expedite payment of outstanding invoices and resolve billing issues promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and produce reports according to finance deadlines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Audit Compliance: Complete audit schedules on time and ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and organize effectively to meet deadlines and drive key business objectives.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a logical approach to work tasks.
- Independence: Ability to work with minimal guidance and direction.
- Accounting Experience: Corporate accounting experience within an Accounts Receivable environment is preferred, along with general accounting/clerical experience.
