Accounts Receivable Officer

Based in Welshpool, AMCAP is a leading parts distributor in Australia servicing the automotive, commercial and industrial sectors. We are a stable and growing organisation that has been operating in WA since 1968. AMCAP is part of Eagers Automotive which is Australia’s largest motoring group and is an Australian Stock Exchange listed company.    
 

We have an opportunity for a hands-on and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our AR team.  The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills with great attention to detail. 
 

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Create new and maintain existing Debtor accounts.
• Processing of customer payments. Contact customers for payment remittances if required. 
• Review/release sales orders that are blocked either due overdue balances or account balances exceeding the credit limit.
• Follow up customers with overdue balances. 
• Send out monthly remittance advices.

Expected qualifications, experience and competencies:

• 1 year experience in Accounts Receivable and/or basic understanding of accounting. 
• Knowledge of ERP system would be advantageous
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
• Good communication skills
• Accurate processing and high attention to detail
