Office Manager/Account Receivable Officer

Due to the stellar growth, we seek a qualified office manager with a considerable focus on accounts receivable to join our growing team reporting to our Accountants and business advisors. Your main responsibility will be ensuring that the company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
The Role:- Oversee a small team of admin staff, planning, organising, and directing their activities, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Invoicing in an accurate and timely manner
- Liaising with debtors to ensure prompt payment.
- Resolving debtor queries/disputes.
- Update and distribute internal debtor reports.
- Perform customer credit checks and gain finance approval before commencing work.
- Creating, updating and maintaining customer records within the accounting software.
- Allocate customer receipts in the financial ledgers.
- Assist accountants in monthly AR Reconciliation to Balance Sheet.
- Generate, review, and send monthly statements to customers.
- Assistance to the accounts team as required.
- Accounts Payable and Payroll
- Overseeing and managing the delivery of business services that support the core operations of the business, including but not limited to:
- managing facilities such as offices, furniture, equipment, etc.
- improving service quality to customers, and
- optimising systems and processes to achieve overall operational efficiency.
- Manage IT matters across the business in consultation with the company external IT consultant.
- Oversee Company webpage and social media platform (LinkedIn)
- Assist senior management with day-to-day / ad-hoc administration tasks and undertake project work that supports the initiatives set for the Company.
- Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- High level of organisation skills as well as the ability to multi-task
- Highly experienced in the use of accounting software – QuickBooks Online advanced or similar
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Salary of $60,000 to $80,000 Plus Super
